This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds, returns, or exchanges may be provided for products purchased through our website. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
2. Change of Mind
Due to the nature of precious metals and the continuous fluctuation of gold and silver market prices, Sydney Gold Jewellers does not generally offer refunds or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases.
Once an order has been confirmed and payment received, the price is locked in based on the prevailing market rate at that time. As precious metal prices may rise or fall, change-of-mind cancellations or returns may not be accepted.
3. Pricing Volatility
Customers acknowledge that gold and silver prices are subject to global market movements. Orders cannot be cancelled due to price fluctuations after purchase. Sydney Gold Jewellers is not responsible for market losses resulting from changes in metal prices.
4. Faulty or Damaged Products
If a product arrives damaged, defective, or significantly different from its description, customers are entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law. If you believe your item is faulty or incorrect, you must notify us within a reasonable time after receiving the product. Evidence such as photographs and order details may be requested to assess the claim.
Where a product is confirmed to be faulty or incorrectly supplied, Sydney Gold Jewellers may offer a replacement, repair, or refund in accordance with legal obligations.
5. Incorrect Orders
If you receive an item that does not match your order confirmation, please contact us promptly. We will review the matter and arrange an appropriate resolution where necessary.
6. Return Conditions
Any approved return must be authorised in advance by Sydney Gold Jewellers. Returned products must remain in their original condition, including packaging and seals where applicable. Items that have been opened, tampered with, or altered may not be eligible for return unless required by law.
Customers are responsible for securely packaging approved returns. Risk remains with the customer until the returned item is received and inspected by us.

Where a refund is approved, it will be processed using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. Refund timeframes may vary depending on the payment provider. Sydney Gold Jewellers reserves the right to verify returned goods before issuing a refund.
